Sound Quality: Overall, we found the speaker delivers less than satisfactory sound quality. Expect distortions or other audio issues. The bass, which covers instruments such as bass drums, bass guitars, or stand-up bass, has middling impact and does not go deep, and it is somewhat subdued. Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is not balanced, and it is somewhat grainy, congested, thin, a bit plasticky. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is fairly extended, but it is sizzly. Does a decent job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends somewhat above, and not much to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a medium sized room. If you choose to pair this speaker with another, the stereo set can be placed to provide better separation than other models.
