Sound Quality: Overall, we found the speaker delivers near accurate and detailed sound. Expect fewer distortions or other audio issues. The bass, which covers instruments such as bass drums, bass guitars, or stand-up bass, has good impact but deep bass is lacking, and it is a bit subdued. Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is fairly even, but it is somewhat grainy and congested, a touch hazy. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is fairly extended, but it is a bit smeared and sizzly. Does a so-so job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends somewhat above, and not much to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a medium sized room. If you choose to pair this speaker with another, the stereo set can be placed to provide better separation than other models.
