Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is extended, but it is a bit subdued, smeared, sizzly, dry. Does a decent job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends a bit above and to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a medium sized room. If you choose to pair this speaker with another, the stereo set can be placed to provide better separation than other models.
