    CR's Take

This road-bike-style helmet from German-brand Uvex does an excellent job of absorbing impact in CR testing. It's lightweight, sports reflective features, and rates very good for adjustability, thanks to a ratchet-style dial for the occipital stabilizer and an adjustable retention strap. Ventilation is only fair-though its vents do have insect shields-and it comes in one universal size.
