    Pace 500.3 ST
The Pace 500.3 ST feels a lot like a conventional bike, but with a serious boost of assist from its hub-mounted electric motor, regardless of what “level” you choose on its multicolor control/display panel. At 53 pounds, it’s not terribly heavy for an e-bike, and it climbs hills and cruises well without the electric motor. Under electric power, it takes off fast, climbs even steep hills quickly, and has an excellent set of brakes to slow it down. The step-through frame will likely be a plus for commuters, as it makes getting on and off—particularly in stiffer, more formal clothing—much easier than a conventional frame with a high top tube.
