With its deep-dish blue rims and sleek black frame, this model cuts an impressive figure. But its glam cred is only skin deep. Although it has enough power to provide strong acceleration, hill climbing, and cruising assistance from the electric motor, CR’s testers found it very difficult to ride without any e-assist. That’s something to keep in mind if you plan on going on longer rides in which the battery may not last. The Propella’s range isn’t so great.
