Five flavors plus a variety pack of frozen Outshine Fruit Bars were recalled by their manufacturer, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, after consumers reported finding glass fragments. The products were shipped to stores nationwide. No injuries have been reported.

The recall includes boxes containing six black cherry, grape, tangerine, strawberry, or watermelon 2.5-ounce bars, and a 24-count variety pack. The bottoms of the packages are marked with various batch codes and “best before” dates between May 2027 and October 2027. See the company’s recall notice on the Food and Drug Administration’s website for the full list.

Dreyer’s, which also makes Häagen-Dazs, Drumstick, Skinny Cow, and Oreo ice creams, did not immediately respond to CR’s questions about how the glass fragments may have made it into the recalled frozen fruit bars.

“Check your freezer since these products have a long shelf life, and throw out any recalled frozen fruit bars, or return them for a refund,” says James E. Rogers, PhD, director of food safety testing at CR.

Consumers with questions about the recall can contact Dreyer’s customer service at 800-392-4885 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.
