I cook many foods consistently well, but bread isn’t one of them. Baking is so science-based that everything has to come together precisely: the ingredients, the measurements, and of course, the bakeware. If your family is anything like mine, the wrong bakeware will make you the forever joke at the family gatherings—not exactly the type of roasting you were trying to accomplish. Some surprised and impressed me, and a couple didn’t quite perform on the level of their counterparts.
