Bath Towels test program at
Consumer Reports. In our lab tests, Bath Towels
models like the Payton are rated on multiple criteria, such as those
listed below.
Softness:
All the towels we tested were soft - some were softer than others. Terry cloth bath towels and waffle towels have a different softness feeling, so they are not directly comparable.
Drying:
Towels that scored well on this test dried more quickly when hung folded in half.
Shrinkage:
Towels that scored well for shrinkage maintained their size better over the course of our wash/dry test cycles.
