Data security: This model has very good security. It has many of the important protections for your recordings and personal data.
Data privacy: Wyze offers a sub-standard level of control and transparency over your data. They are not doing as good a job as many others are with regard to collecting only necessary data, giving you control over its use, and limiting how your data is shared or sold.
Response time: This model sends its alerts to its app within 7 seconds on average, which is moderately fast, though not as fast as others, which means your ability to respond may be a bit delayed.
Smart features: It works with smart-home systems such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT. You'll need to install the Wyze app on your smartphone. Wyze claims this model has recognition algorithms that can detect, and sounds, as well as smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Wyze may offer additional features that require a subscription and/or a firmware update.
