This Beautyrest innerspring mattress performed good in side-support tests, which look at the alignment of the spine, and performed fair in back-support tests, which analyze how well 36 points on the torso are supported. In the durability test, which analyzes the mattress's change in firmness, sag, and damage over a period of up to 8 years of simulated use, this mattress performed very good, showing little change in performance. Its surface conformed to most shapes and showed only a minor number of high-pressure areas. It was also more breathable than others, potentially reducing perspiration. We measured the mattress's firmness to be soft.
