In April 2012, the recall of 19,500 Husqvarna string trimmers including model number 122C was announced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission because fuel can leak from the rubber spacer holding the fuel lines in the fuel tank, posing a fire hazard. See the CPSC recall notice for more details.

This Husqvarna 22-cc, gasoline-powered string trimmer has a curved shaft and weighs 10.5 lbs. It uses dual .080-inch cutting lines.
