Yonkers, NY -- Consumer Reports (CR), the nonprofit organization committed to creating a fair, safe, transparent marketplace for consumers, today announced the hire of Lauren Stanich as Chief Marketing Officer. Stanich will be a key member of CR’s leadership team, responsible for leading marketing strategies across all platforms as CR continues to build new products, services and tools that help consumers better navigate and shape the marketplace in their favor.

Leonora Wiener
Stanich comes to CR with a strong background in digital, e-commerce, catalog, publishing and direct marketing. Most recently, she served as President and CEO of Swirled Inc, a digital start-up that creates lifestyle content for millennial women. Previously, she ran the consumer health business at Everyday Health, where she led the company’s consumer health digital and mobile product development, premium services, and wellness solutions business. She also held leadership positions at Meredith and Martha Stewart Omnimedia.

She earned her BA in Economics and European History from the University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from Columbia University.
