This liquid laundry detergent from Tide performed best in removing body oil, salad dressing, and chocolate. Its results against first and grass stains were very good too. Even in hard water, it performed well.

In our tests, it excelled at removing chocolate stains from fabrics. It also handled body oil, dirt, and blood very well.

This two times concentrated formula from Persil removed chocolate, coffee, body oil, and dirt stains very well in our tests. At 35 percent off, it’s a great time to stock up if this is your family’s go-to detergent.

This laundry detergent dirt, chocolate, and salad dressing stains well. We don’t recommend it for blood and grass stains, but at this price, it’s worth considering.

Mrs. Meyer’s Multisurface Everyday Cleaner worked well to clean up light-to-moderate messes in our testing. Its scent is light and pleasant. Our tester found that oily and greasy messes required more effort to clean than with some other multipurpose cleaners tested.

These paper towels aced our lab tests, earning the second-highest scores for water absorption and wet strength, and the highest score for faux vomit pickup and scrubbing strength. We also found it to be very reusable and easy to rip just one sheet at a time from the roll.

Though this wasn’t in our top 3 favorite paper towels, this 1-ply option wowed our tester with its ability otpick up chunky oatmeal messes. Their texture is rougher than the other models we tested and they are quite strong.

These pre-cut sheets of parchment paper were our second-favorite pre-cut option. No oil seeped through the sheets in our tests. At 20 percent off, this is a great deal to stock up before holiday baking begins.

Although hard to close, these are very sturdy bags, and make a great option for parents with toddlers who have a penchant for throwing their snacks. We love their stand-up bottom, which makes it easier to add foods without making a mess. These are perfect for food prep and leftovers. 

This was the second-best laundry stain remover we tested. It completely eliminated blood and oil stains from cotton fabrics. It was also the only model we tested with instructions printed in both English and Spanish.

We did not make our tests easy when we tested laundry stain removers. OxiClean Max Force performed better than all the rest. It lightened even the toughest stains like concealer and mustard and you can pre-treat stains up to a week in advance.
