This 50-inch Toro zero turn rider comes with a 2-cylinder Self branded engine with an automatic drive system and electric PTO. It includes a more comfortable high-back seat and a washout port.
Consumer Reports rates the optional TimeCutter MX & SWX Twin Bagger (79395) for this mower a Don’t Buy: Safety Risk because its installation requires unbolting its discharge chute/deflector, which exposes the cutting blade. Toro advises against operating the product without the discharge deflector or bagging tube, but CR believes if the bagging tube repeatedly clogs in thick or tall grass a consumer could foreseeably use the mower without the tube installed, posing a laceration and thrown-objects risk (when a blade contacts things like rocks and sticks, they can become dangerous projectiles). If you already own the bagging kit, we suggest you stop using it, reinstall the discharge deflector assembly, and mow in the side-discharge or mulching mode.
