Image indicating black friday deals on ranges

Even if you’re not cooking for a crowd this holiday season, the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend is still a great time to snag a new range if you’ve been thinking about getting one.

We combed through early Black Friday deals and previews from all the major range retailers—including A.J. Madison, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Sears—to find the best deals on gas and electric ranges.

Below are the best Cyber Monday deals on ranges that perform well in our tests. It’s a shorter list than in years past, in part because the pandemic has led to a shortage of appliances—supply chain disruptions have caused production delays, plus there’s been more demand for home appliances as people spend more time at home. But the range deals we did find are exceptionally good, even if there are fewer models. The deals below are available now, and we'll continue updating this list as more deals drop.

Gas Ranges

Frigidaire Gas Range

Slide-in ranges like the Frigidaire FFGH3054US are more expensive than freestanding models, but this sale brings the Frigidaire more in line with freestanding range prices. It’s rare to find a slide-in gas range for under $1,000. This range offers solid performance and a polished look, along with features that include a built-in griddle burner on the cooktop and two high-power burners.

    GE Gas Range

The GE JGB735SPSS is a feature-packed gas range with plenty of bells and whistles. It has five burners, including two high-power burners, as well as a built-in griddle. It has a convection oven mode and a steam clean setting for smaller messes inside the oven cavity. In our tests, it offers solid performance all around.

      LG Gas Range

This LG LDG4313ST gas range deal is among the very best we’ve seen for Black Friday. You hardly ever see a double-oven range for under $1,000 (most start around $1,500), and based on our tests, this is a particularly good model. In addition to two ovens, the range has a built-in griddle burner, continuous cast iron grates, which make it easy to slide pans across the surface, and convection in both of the ovens.

        Electric Ranges

        Frigidaire Electric Smoothtop Range

The Frigidaire FFEH3054US is a great deal for a slide-in smoothtop range. Slide-ins tend to be pricier than their freestanding counterparts, but this model can be snagged for under $800. In addition to its sleek, built-in look, this model offers strong performance, two high-power burners, and a stovetop warming element.

          LG Electric Smoothtop Range

The LG LREL6325 is a stellar performer with plenty of features. The model we test is in a black stainless finish; this deal at Home Depot is limited to traditional stainless. The range has four burners, a warming element, and convection and air fry modes. It also comes with some nifty connected capabilities—it lets you control and check the oven temperature from a compatible smartphone app.

            Samsung Electric Smoothtop Range

At $468, this Samsung NE59M4320SS is nothing short of a steal. It might be low on features, but in our tests, it offers stellar performance. In addition to two high-power burners, it has a stovetop warming element and even convection, which you almost never find in range at this price.
