Clearly not the same product CR tested

Comment:
This product disappeared from the shelves of my two local WalMarts for several weeks. Previously, it was excellent. Now it has returned, but it is clearly NOT the same product and probably not by the same manufacturer either. The current version is not soft, not absorbent, doesn't tear cleanly, and falls apart during use. Simply put, it has not a single attribute that anyone would want in toilet tissue.

Comment:
I think CR got it wrong. Plus when purchasing the rolls had 178 per sheet. Was rough on one side and ok on the other. I think other products are better. Ultra Charmin soft and tough and Members Mark are better than Walmart 3 Ply. The one I bought had 2 ply I took apart and it was not 3 ply. CR really needs to get on the ball on some ratings

Comment:
I grew up reading and trusting CR. After reading the ratings, I made a special trip to Walmart to purchase some for myself and a friend. I bought 3 large packages. It is the worse toilet paper that I have ever purchased or used. I wish that I had read the reviews first. I am always looking for the lessons in life. The lesson that I learned here, is to read all of the reviews first. I agree with all of the neg. reviews, regarding your finger going thru the paper, the paper sticking to you. The only positive thing I can say is it is certainly good for your septic system, as it is breaking down while you are using it. My husband is never going to let me live this one down. P.S. I still love CR. Please be more careful in the future and have your staff use the product the same way that a consumer would be using it. Lab tests don't count in this case.
