Keeping your mobile phone secure in the car just got easier, thanks to a new lineup of magnetic mounts from Bracketron, spotted at the SEMA aftermarket auto show in Las Vegas.
The Earth Elements mounts are designed to connect to the dash, windshield, or vent. They hold on to a phone using a slim magnet that can be permanently mounted to your phone or slipped into the case, and a matching grippy pad attached to a rigid arm and suction cup mount.
Two flip-out and height-adjustable feet are designed to support larger devices, but a company representative said the magnet alone is plenty strong enough to secure a phone even over bumps and in extreme temperatures. They also say the magnets will not harm phones.
Available now online, prices range between $35 and $40.
