Experience and Education
Stef spent over a decade covering every facet of the automotive industry before joining Consumer Reports, writing about vehicle maintenance, legal issues, and every type of car you can imagine, from budget-friendly daily drivers to supercars. She led Jalopnik’s motorsports coverage and Cars.com’s affordability research, and her reporting has appeared in numerous outlets, including The Drive, Popular Mechanics, and The Autopian. Stef holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Film and Digital Media from Baylor University.
