Graco EasyTurn 360

The Graco EasyTurn 360 is a rotating convertible car seat designed for use from birth (4 lb.) to the early school years (65 lb.) As a rotating car seat, it offers parents and caregivers the ability to turn the car seat toward them for easy harnessing, and the rotation feature can be used when rear-facing or forward-facing. But it’s not a single installation: the seat must be reinstalled before using it in the forward-facing position, as it requires the use of the tether strap in this mode (the tether strap must be stored when installed rear-facing). But the EasyTurn 360 offers a good small-car fit, and the seat includes plenty of features designed for long-term use, including a no-rethread harness, 10 adjustable headrest positions, and adjustable cup holders. The seat base also features a lock-off, which can streamline both a LATCH and seatbelt installation for a secure fit. It’s worth noting that the seat is not certified for airplane use, and that CR child passenger safety experts recommend rear-facing until a minimum of age 2, although the Graco EasyTurn 360 allows forward-facing at age 1 year.

Ease of use: The Graco EasyTurn 360 is generally easy to use overall. Note that the rotating feature is designed for one-handed use, but it requires two steps (which is helpful for ensuring you don’t push the rotating button accidentally). The seat requires a separate installation between rear-facing and forward-facing, though the belt paths are the same.

Fit-to-vehicle LATCH: The Graco EasyTurn 360 offers an excellent installation using the LATCH system across both forward- and rear-facing positions. The SnugLock lockoff and push-on LATCH connectors help streamline the LATCH installation process. The tether is required for forward-facing installations. LATCH use is limited to children weighing under 40 lb.

Fit-to-vehicle Belt: The Graco EasyTurn 360 offers an excellent installation using the seat belt across both forward- and rear-facing positions. The SnugLock lockoff helps streamline the seatbelt installation process—it’s very easy to use.

Crash protection: In CR’s crash test protocol, the Graco EasyTurn 360 performed well and did not exhibit significant structural integrity issues.
