The long-running Chevrolet Suburban is a very useful SUV. The addition of electronic stability control as a standard feature makes it a more attractive option for some potential buyers. Three-row SUVs are popular alternatives to minivans, but the third-row seat is usually a compromise. Often, the seat is very uncomfortable and cargo space is reduced to accommodate the seat.

Overall Owner Satisfaction

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. The answer to that question is what determines our owner-satisfaction rating, which is a powerful piece of intel because it predicts how well a particular model will satisfy other owners.

"Tons of room, effortlessd towing - very comfortable on long trips."

Anonymous, MO (2006 Chevrolet Suburban)

"This vehicle has All Wheel Drive and a 6.0 L engine. I LOVE these options and am disappointed I cannot get the same options in a newer model. That is why I am still driving this truck. The 6.0 L engine allows me to be a better driver in avoidance of collisions because driving a large truck takes time to manoeuvre but this engine allow quick manouevering."
