Randomly restarts songs from beginning, switches from playing an album in order to playing all songs on my iPod in shuffle mode, and far too often starts on the first song listed alphabetically (The A Team by Ed Sheeran, which i now hate) even though I was playing an album or playlist when the vehicle was turned off. Also, it takes a long time to index songs each time i turn on vehicle so i cannot immediately browse for music, but instead must listen to The A Team, again"

"The SYNC unit would automatically update software frequently. When it updated, all phones that were synced to it would be gone, we would have to pair them again. This was a continuous problem and had it to the dealership 3 times before I went in one last time to tell my salesman that if it wasn't corrected properly, I would not be back for my next vehicle. He got the general manager involved, and it was finally taken care of properly."

"The software is constantly updating itself. Upon updating, it loses all information regarding Bluetooth, leaving me to have to pair our phones. Normally I would understand this is a necessity. However, this happens way too often. Never goes more than a month without doing this. When it does do this update, it will then update 4 to 5 times in a week, and sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. "Banging from the rear during wet weather. Bumpy ride. All this started around 13,000 miles in th month of January, 2017. Dealer replaced 2 rear shocks and a wheel bearing. Noise is gone however bumpy ride and steering wheel vibration still remain. So its back to the dealer for further investigation. We've had 04, 05 08, 10 and 12 Escapes prior to the 2012 with zero issues!"
