""Since purchasing the SUV, quite frequently when backing up, I would hear a loud squealing! I kept taking it back to the local Ford dealership for this problem and they kept checking it, but every time they would tell me that I had break dust or they couldn't hear it or whatever. This continued up until just last month, when finally ford issued and bulletin, but even with that I still had to pay $100 deductible and then Ford picked up the rest. I'm most frustrated and disappointed that it took almost 5 years for Ford to acknowledge that there wasn't a problem with the backup brakes. And then when they did I still had to pay $100 deductible to get it fixed!""

Neighbors can hear noise in their house. Ford dealer says is due to moisture expansion on brake pads. Warranty wont cover it.""

It turns out the hinge on the door had its spot qeld break and so the hinges were not attached to the door only to the body and so when it opened or shit the door sounded like it was cat thing on the paneling but it was not. We have an appointment for it to get welded back together next week."

"Severe rattling behind front passenger front panel and door panel. Ford was aware of the issue which I was told was due to plastic clips that often break. They replaced the clips once but issue returned about six months later but they refused to repair the second time. Same issue occurred with the 2018 Edge. I will no longer purchase Ford products nor would I recommend any ford product."

I took care of in like 10 days later (owners group said driving car was ok) and told them what was wrong. I told them what owners group had said was problem. I went to pick up car 2 days later. They said it was fixed, but as soon as I started car the same warning came up. I left car there again and told them what I thought the problem was. The next day they called and said it was done again. This time it was, and amazingly it was what I told them was wrong to begin with! No other problems since then.""
