"The Ecoboost engine is fantastic for acceleration when needs you press on the gas and power just comes through. If you watch your acceleration and speed you can regularly get more than 30 mpg when driving solo if you can avoid pressing too heavily on the gas pedal. Your top speed and how fast you get there determines rather you are getting great gas mileage or not. Press down on the gas and away you go with fantastic acceleration if you need it. Towing up to 11000 is no sweat."

"This truck has been awesome, aside from a few flaws in the braking and coolant systems. the first year of the ecoboost 3.5 V6. Plenty of power and very comfortable to drive. I had issues with the brake booster that needed multiple visits to the dealer. But after some serious troubleshooting they finally got it right. The coolant system as well. Problems with the water pump, coolant lines and the overflow tank had to be replaced. The Coil packs and plugs had to be replaced as well at around 70k m..."
