Includes acceleration and handling
What Owners Say
"It has excellent acceleration with just a 6 cylinder engine. Handling is solid with good feedback."
Anonymous, MD (2011 Ford F-150)"The truck has excellent acceleration and towing capacity. I don't think I've ever stressed the engine at all."
John B., TN (2011 Ford F-150)"The Ecoboost engine is fantastic for acceleration when needs you press on the gas and power just comes through. If you watch your acceleration and speed you can regularly get more than 30 mpg when driving solo if you can avoid pressing too heavily on the gas pedal. Your top speed and how fast you get there determines rather you are getting great gas mileage or not. Press down on the gas and away you go with fantastic acceleration if you need it. Towing up to 11000 is no sweat."
Donald G., IN (2011 Ford F-150)"It has excellent acceleration when needed without excessive engine noise transmission lag"
Stirling Y., YT (2011 Ford F-150)"It takes way too much space for parallel parking.Does not turn tight enough. You didn't ask about the 2001 Tundra I just gave to my grandson. 325000 miles and STILL drives like a champ!!Only did oil changes and shed maint. My fave vehicle EVER!!!!! He loves it too!! Drives it to Houston and back every week. Thank you Toyota."

Virgil G., NE (2011 Ford F-150)"The torque on the stock 5.0 liter engine is stunning and the truck pulls strongly with or without a trailer. The handling package makes the truck easier to drive than any 1/2 ton truck I have driven. The suspension tracks true and straight, even with the OEM Goodyear tires (since replaced with Michelin LTX M/S2's). Visibility is great and the towing mirrors provide a clear, safe, "no blind spot" view when trailering. I can take a standard 90 right turn at almost 25 mph without squealing the tires - better than my 1999 Explorer 2dr."
Garland M., NC (2011 Ford F-150)"Good acceleration for a V6, some kick when shifting up hard in traffic between 2nd and 3rd gear but all in all very happy. Zero issues with drivetrain over almost 190,000 miles."
Rob G., GA (2011 Ford F-150)"NOTHING BAD. The ecoboost engine makes this big truck fun to drive. (Super Crew with 61/2 foot bed. Drives and handles much better that expected. Great ride. We have 3 other vehicles and this is the one we choose to take on vacation."
