Originally dealer stated that our extend warranty purchased with the vehicle would not cover the $1500 repair. After some haggling with the service manager, Ford agreed to cover the repair under the extended service warranty."

Required new fuel pump, new injectors. Problem is found in internet searches with this type fuel pump. Not covered by Ford warranty. Additional expense to us because mechanic drilled on injector and damaged the engine head"‿needed to be replaced."
