2013 GMC Yukon Reliability - Consumer Reports
The Yukon, twin to the Chevrolet Tahoe, has a compliant ride, good interior quality, and comfortable seats. Towing capability is impressive, but the 5.3-liter V8 is unrefined. There is little cargo room behind the tiny third-row seat, which doesn't fold into the floor. Four-wheel-drive versions have a selectable full-time system. Handling and braking are only so-so.

Reliability indicates how models have performed in the past, providing the basis for predicting how the vehicles will hold up in the year ahead. These charts provide the most comprehensive reliability information available to consumers. Based on information received from our latest subscriber survey for over 300,000 vehicles, our reliability history charts give you a rundown on how 2000 through 2021 vehicles are holding up in 17 potential trouble spots, ranging from the engine, transmission, and brakes to power equipment and the electrical system. NA indicates that we did not receive a large enough sample size to provide data for a specific year. An X indicates that the vehicle was not manufactured for a specific year.

I took it there and they supposedly fixed it, but problem recurred immediately. I took it to a CHEVROLET/GMC dealership and they fixed it. I have an extended service contract on this car. (I purchased it independently from any dealership.) The Service Contract company did not want to cover the the cost of the repair, but they finally did. This happened shortly after I purchased the car and it left me with a negative impression of all three companies - the one I bought it from, the extended service contract company and the company that finally fixed it."
