Honda CR-V 2006 4-door SUV

The CR-V is one of the better car-based SUVs on the market and is competitively priced. Its ride is supple and controlled. Its handling is responsive and secure with the standard stability control. The four-cylinder engine is more energetic, refined, and economical than some competitors' V6s. The five-speed automatic transmission is very smooth and responsive. The rear seat is roomy and the flat floor enhances leg room. Road noise is our only complaint. The cargo floor lifts out to double as a picnic table. The rear gate swings open to the side. Crash-test results are impressive.
