Overall Owner Satisfaction

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. The answer to that question is what determines our owner-satisfaction rating, which is a powerful piece of intel because it predicts how well a particular model will satisfy other owners.

What Owners Say

"Needs the 1.5 litre engine that is in the civic and crv"

Anonymous, ON (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The CVT transmission hinders the acceleration of the vehicle."

Anonymous, NC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"No acceleration at all but, it drives great"

Murray R., TX (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Quick and nimble"

Anonymous, CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Acceleration and handling is very good considering the vehicle type."

Anonymous, NC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Fun to drive in local traffic. Enough comfort for a medium length trip."

FREDERICK C., FL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Fun to drive comfortable and lot of features."

Anonymous, CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"when removing the key car stays in gear if you do not put the car in park"

Anonymous, PA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Despite reviews that say HRV is underpowered, I have not found it to be the case. I am a skier, and it performs very well in mountain driving. On steep hills, many cars cannot return to speed limit after a slow truck pulls in front, causing 30-40 mph decrease in speed. HRV has no problem returning to speed limit. CVT will increase RPM to >5K, if necessary, in drive. This is the 1st automatic transmission I have ever owned and I was skeptical that it would perform as well as a standard, but"

KAREN Y., CO (2016 Honda HR-V)

"I was worried about the car being under-powered & having sluggish acceleration with the cvt transmission. What I found after driving From Florida to Texas & back (mostly flat roads & interstate) and then from Florida to Ohio & back (some mountains & back roads) is that the car is not any slower than our old Honda Civic. The CVT is very smooth without the high rpm's between shifts on a traditional transmission. We had no problems in normal driving in the city or on the highway."

DANIEL B., FL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"For in city the power is ok ,but could have a little more for the highway.,handling is good over all"

AIME D., SK (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Honda seems to have a habit of equipping their cars with performance that's just "adequate" but there's no "power reserve" which would allow it to accelerate when necessary without having to gear itself down to gain acceleration. My vehicle is equipped with the CVT and paddle shifters, should one want to pretend to have a "performance" driving stint. That said, the performance is "adequate" but not exemplary. This is the third Honda my family has driven, and all of them had this quirk of design."

WILLIAM M., CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Not so good with passengers on board and up hills. Needs a little more HP than currently has. However normal driving with 2 passengers it is just fine. The steering has little or no feel to me, my wife loves it."

RICAHRD V., FL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Slow to accelerate, no pickup speed"

Anonymous, NC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"sluggish acceleration and handling can be vague at times"

Anonymous, ON (2016 Honda HR-V)

"great"

Anonymous, NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"CVT makes the vehicle noisy, I'd rather loose 1 mpg or 2 for a 6 speed automatic"

Anonymous, NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"STILL STANDOUT HONDA QUALITY. MANUFACTURED IN MEXICO NO PROBLEMS. DRIVING EXPERIENCE GOOD NO ISSUES FOR THIS OLD MAN."

Anonymous, QC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"It's very zippy which is not what your magazine ratings have said about it. I don't find it slow or sluggish at all."

DONNA B., WA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Acceleration could be improved, however handling is fine."

Anonymous, UT (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Excellent handling for an automatic!"

APRIL F., CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"iT HANDLES SMOOTHLY AND HAS A GREAT TURNING RADIUS AND HENCE WILL BE USEFUL IN TOWN."

RAVISHANKAR R., PA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"the transmission responds slowly when you shift into..out of reverse."

Anonymous, NJ (2016 Honda HR-V)

"ADEQUATE ACCELERATION AND VERY GOOD HANDLING"

Anonymous, IA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"While it gets excellent gas mileage, acceleration is lagging. Entering and merging to highway speeds is a throwback to the 70's. This definitely needs a slight boost in power."

John H., NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Excellent acceleration and handling. Ride is somewhat uncomfortable over long distances. Fine for around town driving and short trips"

Dennis M., TN (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Not very powerful on acceleration, but it is a compromise for a small engine and I would rather have a slow acceleration and better fuel economy and less pollution."

Anonymous, NB (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The only complaint is I was not used to how slow the acceleration is when trying to merge into traffice onto a highway from an on ramp. The car is otherwise peppy and handles well."

Rose D., RI (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Car handles well. But it has no power on takeoff . Engine noise is loud. Brakes are soft."

Anonymous, DE (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Handling is quite easy; car doesn’t accelerate extremely easily but does well and i feel safe in it."

Vicki S., CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"great excelleration!"

Roland' S M., ME (2016 Honda HR-V)

"I find the acceleration very responsive & the handling is quite nimble."

P B., NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The acceleration is amazing. I'm able to get up to highway speed quickly as I merge onto the highway traffic"

Anonymous, CO (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Acceleration is barely adequate. Handling is excellent."

Anonymous, PA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The car is very responsive when turning & handling when driving through curves. Because I keep my car in the econo-mode, the acceleration is not great, but it's good enough to merge on highways without a problem. Good car driving experience."

Anonymous, SC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The HR-V hums along. It is not fast but is adequate and handles very well for an SUV."

David E., NC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Accelerates easy and fast to get on freeways. Good tight steering wheel and responsive Wheels."

Anonymous, OR (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Excellent pick up, sure handling-responsive"

Anonymous, OH (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Could have had a bigger engine"

Christine L., QC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Handles curves well... center of gravity seems low, which does improve handling. Drives much like a car. Somewhat under-powered... acceleration is sluggish... could really use a HP and torque boost. One of the newer Civic engines would be a great addition."

Anonymous, NL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The HRV handles very well, the only issue is acceleration is very slow."

Anonymous, NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"road noise is bad"

Anonymous, FL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"always first off line - a great travelling car - handles well even on Interstate - heavy enough to drive with 18 wheelers without being blown around"

Anonymous, FL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"I really like the handling - it is fun to drive. The acceleration is somewhat slow - it feels underpowered."

Jim L., IL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Acceleration is labored even with 2 passengers, with 5 you need to give yourself more space. Hill climbing really labors this engine/transmission. Braking is good, again full load labors this vehicle. Avoidance control works well steering comfortable for us. High speed good for us but a little sensitive lane changing be careful, very sensitive."

Richard V., FL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"It drives very well.. I live in the mountains & have no trouble accelerating up the mountains. turns well; love it"

Anonymous, CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The acceleration on this car is not great. If Honda had included a turbo engine in the HRV this vehicle would be perfect for my needs"

Carrie R., MA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Sufficient for this time in my life. A turbocharged engine would be nice and better lighting in the headlights."

Anonymous, NJ (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The HR-V is substantially underpowered. And, the gas mileage is only two mpg better than the CR-V!"

Robert S., VT (2016 Honda HR-V)

Comfort

Includes seats, climate control, noise, and ride

What Owners Say

"Noise is too high Seats are too short with not enough leg room"

Anonymous, ON (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The seats are not as plushn as my old accord and it doesn't have power seat adjustments"

Anonymous, ON (2016 Honda HR-V)

"For an economy car decent ride"

Anonymous, MB (2016 Honda HR-V)

"It feels cheap, lots of plastic. The road noise is very bad. The radio touch screen does not respond well at all. It hard to find what you need while driving."

Anonymous, GA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Very supportive seats; a little bit loud; a bit harsh on bumps, but not too bad; probably would prefer the knob controls on the LX, but I love the right side blind spot camera"

MARY S., MN (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Touch screen seems overly sensitive. Changing settings while driving often results in accidentally touching a nearby function. eg. - turning on heated seat feature when you wanted to adjust fan speed."

JERRY-RHETTA W., PA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"I am 6' @ 195 pds and find the Driver's and Front passenger seats tight across back. Also, seat height and inclination are not sufficient in range to adjust comfortably for me."

TODD O., TX (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The seats are very uncomfortable if you are in the car for more than half an hour. The air conditioning system has vents that blow directly on the hands at three and nine, this is rather uncomfortable because your hands get very cold. The steering system is extend and tilt, but for me it needs to extend a little further ."

Anonymous, TX (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Perfect size for my dog and I. Terrific gas mileage, great acceleration."

LINDA B., NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"This vehicle, with its level of fit and finish (leather, NAVI system, etc) and its final price (26k +) does not have a power adjustable driver's seat. The mechanical seat adjustability parameters are inadequate to find the "perfect" position for comfortable driving. For this price, it should have had an infinitely, power-adjustable driver's seat."

WILLIAM M., CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The ride is excellent. The use of Michelin tires is a major plus. Other brands of tires don't feel the same for me and i've had quite a few Hondas without Michelins. The comfort and feel overall is excellent as well. Very well designed for visibility and road comfort."

Anonymous, IL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The seating is uncomfortable. The angle of the seat bottom doesn't seem to be matched. The seat back seems to wedge your hips forward."

MARK B., NC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Seats are not comfortable during long drives. Little lumbar support. Storage pockets are too small. CD's, letters and other various items won't fit."

Anonymous, CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The HRV magic seats are the best. I can lower the rear seats almost flat to the floor and lower the back of the passenger seat and actually get a 2x4x8 foot piece of lumber in the car. I can't do this with the CRV. It handles well and does get 33- 34 MPG on the highway."

Anonymous, NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The seats do not have lumbar support, it is not comfortable on a long ride."

Anonymous, TN (2016 Honda HR-V)

"repeated issues with seals and windows causing lots of wind noise"

Anonymous, TX (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Front seats get uncomfortable after about an hour."

Anonymous, IL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Difficult to stretch leg."

T H., TN (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The noise levels are much higher then what I've experienced in the CR-V. Also, the cabin comfort is lacking the "niceities". For example: inconvenient access to charging ports and outlets, no room for sunglasses, arm rest not really functional/useful, lack of console storage."

RANDY W., NJ (2016 Honda HR-V)

"CVT can be slow to respond when accelerating"

Anonymous, NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The ride is extremely bumpy, especially in the back and my oldest child complains all the time about bumps."

ASHLEIGH V., CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"the driver's seat is very comfortable; the passenger seat is OK. The back seats are not good for long drives. The ride is bumpy at times."

Anonymous, NC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"head rest keeps heat uncomfortably forward."

KAREN S., NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The seat is very uncomfortable. Drive for over a hour and my back will hurt all the next day. Had to buy a special back support and installed it in the drivers seat or I could not drive the car."

BUDDY B., OH (2016 Honda HR-V)

"would like lumbar sup[port in both front seats"

Anonymous, PA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"I am very unhappy with the climate control system. It is touch controls that are located low on the dashboard. As such, one cannot tell which buttons one is pushing solely by feel. The only way to know which button you are pushing is by looking. Since it is located low on the dashboard, it requires one to take ones eyes off the road for too long. I feel very uncomfortable doing so,and usually have to wait for a chance to stop before looking down and adjusting the controls. The other poor aspect"

JIM L., IL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The air conditioner doesn't cool the cabin as well as it should in extremely hot weather (above 92 degrees F). The black dashboard absorbs sunlight and reflects heat directly onto the driver and front passenger."

Anonymous, AL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Lack of storage space in doors and center console. Lack of lumbar support in driver seat."

Anonymous, TX (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Dealer said shocks were installed and faulty from factory.Had to push the Dealer Don Jacobs to fix and shock was backordered and I was told it was ok to drive. Then other shock broke and unsafe to drive"

Anonymous, KY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"a tad noisy. not bad. still, sweet ride I dig it!"

Anonymous, TX (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Drivers seat very bad for back. Have to use cushion. I think it caused my sciatica problems."

Anonymous, MO (2016 Honda HR-V)

"no lumbar support and front seats too close together"

Anonymous, NS (2016 Honda HR-V)

"There is a lot of engine noise. There also Road noise."

Anonymous, CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"My 6'6" family member finds it a little cramped. It's fine for the 6'4" though"

Anonymous, GA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"I am only 5 feet tall and weight 118 lbs.. The gas pedal is to my far right unless I sit on the right side of the seat. The seat also bends my back and head forward and I can't adjust it except too far forward, or remove the head cushion (haven't done that).."

Anonymous, FL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Should have a power adjustable seat."

JOHN D., NJ (2016 Honda HR-V)

"It's all very comfortable and we are satisfied."

RALPH H., NC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"No adjustment for lumbar support. Poor design."

GREGORY C., ME (2016 Honda HR-V)

"While fine over normal roads, ride can be outright jarring when going over sharp bump. Although I have the high end leather seats, they cannot be adjusted enough for short drivers."

Anonymous, PA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"It would be great if the seat adjustment was easier. My husband is 6 ft and I am under 5 ft. It is difficult for me to pump the seat us each time I drive. Would love an auto adjustment system."

WILLIAM W., FL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"driver's seat doesn't go high enough and there is an obstruction on the floor of both the drivers side & passenger sides that interferes with overall comfort"

CATHY M., KS (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Rear passenger ride is bumpy not comfortable. Overall ride is great except on bumps."

RANDY P., PA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Storage areas (cups, coins, etc) are odd, awkwardly placed, almost too small to be useful. A daily minor irritant"

Anonymous, FL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Seats uncomfortable for long trips, passenger seat leg room is somewhat hampered by the gas tank under the seat, noise is noticeable"

RONALD O., FL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"FRONT SEAT IS DIFFICULT TO ADJUST TO COMFORTIBLE DRIVING POSITION. NOISE LEVEL IS MODERATE. RIDE IS A LITTLE BUMPY."

Anonymous, IA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Not very smooth ride"

Anonymous, CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The back seats are not that comfortable. The noise level is a little higher than what i expected. The suspension in the back including the shocks creates closer to a truck like ride rather than a car like ride"

Randy P., PA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"very comfortable and stylist"

Roland' S M., ME (2016 Honda HR-V)

"It has a bumpy ride and can be a noisy ride. I love how all the seats can be lowered for more cargo space. I hate black cloth seats so I had the seats covered with beige leather. The floor is not carpeted but some kind of cheap black felt that blows around in my car."

Rose D., RI (2016 Honda HR-V)

"seats are hard after a long drive. road noise is very noticeable especially since I wear hearing aids"

Anonymous, CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"SEATS COULD BE MORE COMFORTABLE. NOT AS COMFORTABLE AS LEXUS FOR LONG DISTANCE DRIVING."

Anonymous, VA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Poor Ride"

Anonymous, AL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Seats can be adjusted to my personal driving preference and posture which does change from time to time. The only bothersome noise if if I choose to ride with the windows down just a little."

Martha S., NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The seats could be more comfortable especially on long trips."

Anonymous, IL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"I find the seats comfortable, even on lengthy rides. No complaints from other family members regarding seats. Engine is noisy under hard acceleration... not unexpected from a small 4 cylinder with CVT. Ride is good, given the short wheelbase."

Anonymous, NL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Drivers seat too hard and poor lumbar support"

W S., CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The driver seat belt is uncomfortable and doesn't seem to be designed for a female. The retractor does not work efficiently and most times needs to be guided my hand to totally retract."

C M., KS (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Seats do not provide sufficient thigh support for tall people. Unconfortable for multi-hour rides."

Anonymous, MA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Would like the ride to be smoother. Using the touch screen while moving can be a problem......."

Anonymous, PA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Very smooth. Very comfortable. Very quiet."

Anonymous, MN (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The seats are heated which is great in the winter. The leather is very comfortable."

Anonymous, CO (2016 Honda HR-V)

"noise, seats would like electric adjustment less harsh ride(shocks ?"

Anonymous, KY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Seats very comfortable. This car is really quiet and gives a comfortable ride."

Anonymous, ME (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Seats are hard . Seat position in relation to the steering wheel is too far away and moving seat closer makes pedals too close. Not designed with 5-foot woman in mind."

Taunia R., TX (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Ride is a little rough and somewhat noisy."

Anonymous, TX (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The overall interior is fantastic for such a small car. Lots of room, comfortable seats, a huge and flexible cargo area. Ride is fine, noise is about what I expect."

David E., NC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"As man @ 5’7‿, and 165 lbs, the Sears feel very confining. I feel as though I’m being hugged. The rear seats only go down as 1. Also, a rear shock need to be replaced before 1 year with less than 10k on the car."

Paul O., NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The ride is rougher than I would like"

Randy V., CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Seat needs to be a little wider and no I don’t have a big butt"

Anonymous, CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The headrests are uncomfortable."

Anonymous, WA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Seats are comfortable & the ride is a bit stiff (like a sports car) which is OK. The noise level at speeds of 60mph or higher drowns out the radio unless I turn up the volume at lot"

P B., NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Floors sound like they are a little flimsey and don't muffle the sound."

Anonymous, PA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Car is noisy."

Anonymous, AZ (2016 Honda HR-V)

"One reason I bought the Honda over some competitors was the comfort of the driver seat. The lumbar support is good. What I don't like is the road noise. It's pretty bad."

Patricia K., NV (2016 Honda HR-V)

Value

Did you get what you wanted relative to the price you paid?

What Owners Say

"I believe this vehicle is a very good value. It's easy to drive and gets great gas mileage. Sometimes as high as 36 mpg trips."

Gary W., OH (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Great all around vehicle for the price!"

Richard F., GA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Great, reliable little suv."

DIANE M., MA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"It was a trade in to a lease. Thought it was hard negotiation but good for both parties"

Anonymous, FL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"I believe your review of the hr-v is way wrong ride and noise are the best that Honda has ever done cvt transmission is outstanding this car shpuld be very highly rated .this is the 12th Honda I have owed and hands done the best"

Anonymous, NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"I wasn't very happy with my negotiating skills and resent having to 'negotiate' the price and addons. I love for the vehicle itself. the car and paid a fair price"

LARRY B., TN (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Disappointed I couldn't haggle with the salesman. I had to be MSRP!"

DONNA B., WA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"An otherwise excellent car is ruined by distorted glass in the windshield, a distorted rear-view mirror, and bluetooth hands-free that fails to operate properly. All of these factors were addressed to Honda for warranty correction and Honda refused to take any corrective action on any of the problems. Never Honda ever again!!!"

Anonymous, MD (2016 Honda HR-V)

"We bought the HRV when it first came out, so had to pay top dollar. Not blaming Honda for that, but wouldn't do it again, especially as better vehicles are currently available for the money."

ARTHUR H., NM (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Car competitively price when compared to other makes with options that are in model that was purchased"

GREG Q., ON (2016 Honda HR-V)

"very good gas mileage"

KARL J., GA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Interior and features are below expectations for price of car."

Anonymous, SC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"We bought the LX trim level to be cheap. Really wishing we had bought the EX trim level for one single reason: the rear view backup camera. The LX uses a tiny display size and doesn't show the backup guide lines. The EX had the larger display with backup guide lines on it. That is soo NOT worth another $2000 for that mere $20 additional hardware and software licensing cost to Honda, but is a feature that all cars really need."

Anonymous, CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"I needed a vehicle that has a fair amount of "asking" space and wanted one that got close to 30 MPG.. I actually do get this or 31 MPG inat least 6 months of the year. Less MPG in the winter."

Martha S., NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Outstanding value"

Anonymous, WA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"HRV does many things very well (roominess, dependability, style, size, handling. It is unsatisfactory in safety warning systems (none), ride harshness, minimal acceleration. We will replace this vehicle with one that has better ride, acceleration, and, most importantly, full compliment of safety warning systems."

Anonymous, PA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"This car is even better than the CR-V and I thought the CR-V was the best car to date. Better mileage, better controls, better handling....."

Bill S., IL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"MPG are extremely good. It handles well and does all I could ask for."

Anonymous, TN (2016 Honda HR-V)

"- Good gas mileage - power window only on driver side - no power opening for back hatch - no garage door opener - no power driver seat - no storage in cabin -"

Anonymous, DE (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Too many design flaws. As a man of 5’7‿ I must bend over to enter the car. I hit my head too often. The exterior rear door handles are uncomfortable to access. If you’re right handed and you try to open the left side you need to twist your left hand to open it. As a righty I carry most things in my right hand. It’s a bit easier entering the rear right. It does have great Honda tight engine. I wouldn’t get it again; it’s a swollen Civic."

Paul O., NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"For about $21k, I get heated seats, auto on/off headlights, rearview camera (also for switching lanes to the right), bluetooth, steering wheel controls, a sunroof, and plenty of cargo space, all in a compact vehicle."

Megan M., TX (2016 Honda HR-V)

"terrific car - love the vertical storage with back seats - I own a business and the HRV fills all my needs at very low cost - essentially no repair cost (just routine maintain) - I look for off the line pick-up and the HRV wins here too!! great for utility...I'm not looking for luxury"

Anonymous, FL (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Good- General comfort, positioning, visual, access, carrying capacity, driver controls, braking, steering, cameras, gas mileage are all better than expected. Bad-Negative would be seat, roof/door liners dirt/dust very clingy difficult to keep interior clean. Parking is very difficult for my wife. Unable to sense where points front, tail rear points to navigate vehicle in tight spaces. Require More sensors. cameras etc."

Richard V., FL (2016 Honda HR-V)

Anonymous, PA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"I hesitate to call the floor covering "carpet". It is more like the felt on a cheap pool table. My 96 Honda Civic EX has MUCH better carpet. The space between the driver's seat and seat belt anchor is way too tight, especially with winter coats on. The "dead pedal" where you rest your left foot is glued to the so-called carpet and doesn't stay in place."

C M., KS (2016 Honda HR-V)

"The AWD LX is a high quality vehicle at a very reasonable price. After 36,000 miles the only expenditures made are for oil changes and tire rotations."

David H., OK (2016 Honda HR-V)

"great value for the money. Plenty of room. Never had below 30 miles to the gallon of gas. Engine when pushed is very noisy and there is a lot of road noise. Excellent price for keyless entry backup camera, side camera. Great AC esp important in Hawaii with automatic temp control"

"I really wanted heated seats. I had to upgrade to get this feature, which also included a moon roof and touch screen controls. I couldn't care less about the moon roof, and truly never remember that it's there. I also would have much preferred the simpler audio system. In retrospect, I could have saved a lot if I just did after-market seat heaters, but obviously was not thinking at time of purchase."

E D., NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"I researched the car before I bought it brand new. It has lived up to my expectations and more."

"I previously owned a FIT, and loved the versatility of its seats folding up and down, but needed a higher vehicle for the rural area I live in now. The HR-V is perfect!"

VICKI S., CA (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Exterior styling very nice but, interior styling looks cheap."

Anonymous, SC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Love the no-show rear door handles"

Anonymous, NY (2016 Honda HR-V)

"I like the way the back doors open, making the HRV look like a two door vehicle. The only down side to the HRV is the lack of storage inside. The console could have been bigger allowing storage and an arm rest."

CATHERINE H., WV (2016 Honda HR-V)

"It isw a beautiful automobile"

CHARLES B., SC (2016 Honda HR-V)

"good over all in it,s class"

AIME D., SK (2016 Honda HR-V)

"Very versatile. Big enough to haul things w/o feeling like being in a "boat". Legally blind friend thought rear door latches harder to find."

MARY S., MN (2016 Honda HR-V)
