This version of the Elantra rides comfortably and quietly. Additionally, its cabin is relatively spacious. The engine feels refined and provides adequate acceleration. Handling is secure, but not particularly agile.
The Elantra has come a long way. In contrast to the previous version we tested, this model was a very good car with a lot to offer. It took its place as an able competitor with the best in the category and was among the lowest priced models.
