"When the car hits a bump in the road, the back end of the car sways to one side or the other - as if separated from the front end. Hard to describe without feeling it for yourself. The feeling is more pronounced with those sitting in the backseat"

"The A/C compressor seized up and froze in the Summer of 2019. It is driven by the single / main belt, so the belt kept spinning along with the engine and eventually snapped. Thus, the engine-cooling water pump could not work, so the car could not be driven until both the A/C compressor and belt were replaced. I bought the part from RockAuto.com, the belt and refrigerant from a local auto parts store, and self-installed it with a friend who works on cars a lot within 2-3 days. The new one makes a whirring sound I don't remember, but it has operated without incident since."
