Quick, capable and roomy, the Infiniti M35 is a top-flight car. It has a strong and eager powertrain, as well as agile handling. Interior accommodations are generous, fit and finish are first rate, access is easy, and the controls are intuitive. Fuel economy is not great-19 mpg overall -- but par for the course in the luxury sedan segment.

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. The answer to that question is what determines our owner-satisfaction rating, which is a powerful piece of intel because it predicts how well a particular model will satisfy other owners.

Includes acceleration and handling

What Owners Say

"All wheel drive with snow mode handles deep snow effortlessly when other vehicles can't do the job. Nice acceleration."

John M., IN (2008 Infiniti M)

"Low-profile tires & wheels don not give you a comfortable ride. Any roadway with grooves practically jerks the steering wheel out of your hands. I had to change to 19" tires & wheels. Our dealer said that nothing was wrong."

Donald M., WA (2008 Infiniti M)

"For only being being a 3.5L, she has 275 H.P. And moves like a faster car. I LOVE entering a merge lane at speed, checking the mirrors, and xxxxxx off a Volvo!! My last car was a 2005 Chrysler 300C, AWD. Handled like a Cinderbrick, but Threw you back in your seat like your Father slapped ya on a family road trip!!!"

Bryant P., NY (2008 Infiniti M)

"acceleration and handling"

David G., CA (2008 Infiniti M)

"This car handles well with quick steering, flat cornering and front wheel action feedback through the steering wheel."

Anonymous, MI (2008 Infiniti M)

"The car has very stable handling even when pushed a little too fast. VDC does work but is sometimes annoying in the snow when it takes over too soon. The all wheel drive provides reasonable control in heavy snows even with only all-season tires. The car accelerates strongly over a wide range of engine speeds with the V8 engine. You don't have to make the engine scream to get the desired acceleration."

Robert B., ON (2008 Infiniti M)

"Strong engine, sporty ride."

John M., CT (2008 Infiniti M)

"There is nothing like a large V8 to deliver lots of power and torque. The acceleration is blistering and yet smooth and immediate. The car loves to be driven hard and handles obstacles and curves with aplomb."

Anonymous, ON (2008 Infiniti M)

"The acceleration is pretty much an "on or off" affair. It is difficult to accelerate smoothly as a result. Additionally, over assisted steering makes it hard to not overcompensate."

Anonymous, FL (2008 Infiniti M)

"Strong acceleration and great handling for a vehicle of this size."

Anonymous, CA (2008 Infiniti M)

"Excellent acceleration and handling. Main drawback with car is trunk space does not have a pass through for skies."

Anonymous, CO (2008 Infiniti M)

"It has kept its acceleration well , good all wheel with flawless shifts between the wheels. It handles snow and ice well, like rear wheel drive until all wheel drive is needed.. Hugs road well."

Anonymous, MA (2008 Infiniti M)

"The acceleration seems to be a light switch. Either it's on or off, very little in between."

Anonymous, FL (2008 Infiniti M)

"Drives like a sports car. Great braking and handling"

CHARLES M., MI (2008 Infiniti M)

Includes seats, climate control, noise, and ride

What Owners Say

"Very comfortable car. Even at 10 years old it is still a smooth ride"

Jeffrey K., PA (2008 Infiniti M)

Anonymous, GA (2008 Infiniti M)

"Very comfortable seats with soft perforated leather"

Marvin H., GA (2008 Infiniti M)

"Extremely comfortable seats, fast car, great ride."

Anonymous, MO (2008 Infiniti M)

"The seats are among the most comfortable I have ever used. Front seats are wide and well-designed with lots of thigh support and multiple power adjustments. Front seats are both heated and cooled. Driver's seat has dual memory and moves forward and back automatically to aid entry. All four doors open almost 90 degrees to make entry easy and the passenger compartment is spacious and luxurious.. The rear seats are also heated with lots of legroom and are power adjustable. The car has a smooth, quiet ride."

Anonymous, ON (2008 Infiniti M)

"The seats are very comfortable and the seat ventilation (heating & cooling) works very well. The noise level is satisfactory but would be better if the engine noise were suppressed better. The ride is good but large bumps and tar strips disturb the ride and the quietness."

Anonymous, MI (2008 Infiniti M)

"Seat is wide enough in the M In other Infinities with sporty bucket seats, the bucket in too narrow for my body."

Anonymous, CO (2008 Infiniti M)

"Fit and finish of the llinterior is excellent. Seams of material all line up for quality appearance. Seat comfort is very good and driving position is excellent with good visibility around the A pillars."

F S., PA (2008 Infiniti M)

"excellent suspension system, very quiet ride"

Janet P., TX (2008 Infiniti M)

"The seats are extremely comfortable on long trips providing heat, cooling, lumbar adjustments and side support. I hope the seats in my next car are this good!"

Robert B., ON (2008 Infiniti M)

"very comfortable leather seats, with heating/cooling option"

Anonymous, NH (2008 Infiniti M)

"Great seats, climate control; Average noise and ride"

ROBERT W., UT (2008 Infiniti M)

"I'm tall and the seats provide good thigh support because they've long. I live in Florida and the AC system is the fastest cooling system of any vehicle I've been in here."

Anonymous, FL (2008 Infiniti M)

"Too much engine noise is allowed into the car. Seats are very comfortable, climate control works well. Ride is a little stiff, but not uncomfortable."

Anonymous, MI (2008 Infiniti M)

Did you get what you wanted relative to the price you paid?

How it looks inside and out

What Owners Say

"Paint is failing"

SCOTT N., AZ (2008 Infiniti M)

"Styling is average for a car of this price. There is little that differentiates it from most other cars of this. Otherwise the styling creates no issues for entrance or egress from the car. That is the styling has no downside except nothing to excite."

ROBERT W., UT (2008 Infiniti M)

"I get at least 5 different people every year I have never met tell me that they really like my car. These are NOT employees of any car dealership. I have been offered money for the car but don't want to sell it because I still like it."

ROBERT B., ON (2008 Infiniti M)

"It still looks good everyday. I do not feel left out when I see a newer model. I could get the newer model and be happy or still keep my model and be happy. If I may expand by using my Acura as an example. The changes Acura make from their redesigns are very annoying. They feel like they have to change everything every time. Why drastically change something when not broken. I will give you my personal example. I have a 2013 MDX and I feel it is better and more beautiful than any of the recent it"
