Like its corporate cousin Hyundai, Kia delivers stylish and competent products often sold for less than the competition. Kia’s lineup ranges from small cars to three-row SUVs—all brimming with a modern look and excellent equipment levels for the money. The Korean brand continues to expand and freshen its lineup. Kia’s powertrain offerings generally deliver respectable acceleration and fuel economy. Its true standout model is the three-row Telluride SUV. The new Carnival is a rare addition to the shrinking minivan segment—and delivers a roomy, comfortable, and refined driving experience. Similar to Hyundai, it has a new all-electric offering called EV6. Overall Kia reliability is a mixed bag, with some models (Niro EV) scoring quite high, while others (the Seltos, Forte, and Sorento) coming in well below average.
