    What Owners Say

    Cylinder head

""The bolts that attach the head to block fail to hold because the material the block is made of. KIA sent out a service notice extending the warranty because it caused coolant to leak. The same problem with the block caused the oil leak on my engine. this was verified by my mechanic, who said KIA should fix it because service notice he showed me. I took it to my KIA and they refuse to fix because the coolant was not leaking. they said they would replace the block like they do to fix the coolant for about $8,000.00. That's about the current value. My mechanic says this is problem aloy blocks used by many car manufacturers and there are kits to fix it. So I'm him do it for under $4,000.00. I am totally disappointed with KIA and probably won't buy another one. My trusted mechanic says that, Hyundai KIA's sister company, has generally better totally batter than this work with. He was amazed with the way KIA treated me.""
