2027 Redesign Year

For 2027, with exterior refreshed, the Corsair has a new 305-hp, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder hybrid engine with all-wheel drive across the line. The previous 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that shared with the Ford Escape is gone. The plug-in hybrid is also discontinued. The previous turbo Corsair had responsive handling, rode very comfortably, and was quiet inside. Lincoln's active driving assistance system, BlueCruise, is included for four years.

2020-Present

Current Generation

Redesigned for 2020, the Corsair is a pleasant compact luxury SUV that improves on the the MKC it replaced. The standard 2.0-liter turbo provides plenty of motivation, so we don't think the optional 2.3-liter turbo is necessary. The Corsair rides very comfortably and is quiet inside. Handling is very responsive and secure. The front seats, however, aren't everyone's cup of tea due to their uneven support. In its rearmost position, the rear seat is roomy. Fit and finish are impressive, and adding flair, the center stack appears to be floating in the air. The infotainment screen is easy to use, but the push-button gear selector is unintuitive. Many advanced safety features come standard, including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot warning, and rear cross traffic warning. A plug-in hybrid model with roughly 25 miles of electric range joined the line for 2021. Note that adaptive cruise control was a separate option but became standard for 2024. Lane centering assistance became standard in 2025.
