Scion iQ

EPA MPG: 36 mpg

Road Test

The tiny Scion iQ hatchback is one of the lowest-scoring cars we've tested. Slow, noisy, and uncomfortable, the iQ's only redeeming qualities are its 34-mpg fuel consumption and amazing urban maneuvering and parking capabilities. Labored acceleration, along with numb and darty steering take the fun out of driving the diminutive Scion. A bare-bones interior, raucous cabin noise, and ridiculously tiny rear seats won't impress your friends, either. Plenty of much nicer cars cost about the same, get comparable fuel economy, and don't beat you up for the privilege.
