Detailed Test Results

Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was very good. Compared to other tested desktops, its speed was adequate for common tasks such as web browsing, video conferencing, and application startup. Speed was adequate when composing documents, working on data spreadsheets, and other productivity tasks. Graphical tasks run faster among other models with only integrated graphics.

Ease of Use: The desktop is bundled with a keyboard and mouse. It had well-designed features that made it comfortable or convenient to use. The keyboard and mouse are both wireless, adding to convenience when placing them. Keyboard letters were high contrast and easy to read, and its keys were comfortably sized. Keyboard features such as media playback and volume control keys add convenience. The wireless mouse has a scroll wheel. You can't easily replace the storage drive.

Display: The display quality was very good overall. Colors were near-accurate and mostly realistic and natural looking. The desktop's display was prone to glare, making it somewhat difficult to see in a brightly lit room. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time, say, for a video or presentation. Its display has better contrast than on most other tested all-in-ones. Friction on the touchscreen may prevent fast swiping, and fingerprints may take some effort to clean off.

Useful features and attributes on this model include: The display is a touchscreen that allows a convenient way to interact and navigate using the screen. You can connect common external devices such as backup drives and DVD burners using USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps). Video outputs include: a HDMI full-size port supporting HDMI 2.1; these are useful for connecting to a TV or separate monitor.

Downsides: There is no memory-card reader, so you'll need to buy an external reader or connect your digital camera directly to this desktop to transfer photos. There's no optical drive like a CD or DVD reader, so you'll have to buy an external drive if you need one. The chassis has no easy upgradability: neither storage nor memory can be replaced.
