Detailed Test Results

Sound Quality: Overall, we found the speaker delivers middling sound quality. Expect some distortions or other audio issues. The bass, which covers instruments such as bass drums, bass guitars, or stand-up bass, has decent impact but deep bass is lacking, and it is somewhat subdued. Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is not balanced, and it is a bit grainy, hazy, congested, thin. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is somewhat prominent and smeared. Does a so-so job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends somewhat above, and not much to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a medium to large sized room. Because these are two separate speakers they can be placed to provide better stereo separation than many other models.

Ease of Use: The speaker has some features or accessories that add convenience during daily operation. Shortcut buttons on the console include: volume. This home speaker does not provide a remote control.

Versatility: Some useful features may be included but others that users typically want may be missing. You can connect wirelessly to this speaker via a direct Bluetooth connection. Connection ports on this speaker includes a 3.5mm input, 1 audio RCA input, a headphone jack, as well as: micro usb computer audio input. There are no tone control or EQ settings for customizing your listening experience.
