Sound quality: Edifier's M90 had very good overall sound quality - although it has some noticeable sonic quirks, this model reproduces music and dialog very well. The bass has good impact and goes deep but is a touch prominent and boomy. Midrange is even but is a bit hazy and a touch muffled and congested. Treble is extended but is a touch subdued. Does a decent job of recovering room ambience and is a touch congested. The two channel sound field extends a bit above and to the sides of the sides of the speaker enclosures.
