    Detailed Test Results

    Sound quality: Edifier's MP100 Plus had mediocre overall sound quality - this model has sonic shortcomings that leave a lot to be desired when listening to music but don't rule it out for dialog. The bass has little impact and doesn't go deep and is somewhat subdued. Midange is somewhat congested, grainy, plasticky and telephone like, a bit thin and hazy and a touch etched. Treble is fairly extended but is somewhat sizzly and a bit dry. Does a so-so job of recovering room ambience and is somewhat congested. Volume:

    Provides a decent volume level in a small sized room but is better suited for near field listening. Individual instruments and voices are identifiable and have a two dimensional quality. This speaker is monophonic.
