The bass, which covers instruments such as bass drums, bass guitars, or stand-up bass, has good impact and goes fairly deep, and it is a bit prominent and tubby. Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is even, but it is a bit hazy and congested, a touch plasticky. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is fairly extended, but it is a bit subdued and smeared. Does a decent job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends somewhat to the sides, and a bit above of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a medium sized room.
