Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is fairly even, but it is hazy, somewhat grainy and congested. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is fairly extended, but it is a bit smeared, a touch subdued. Does a so-so job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends somewhat above, and a bit to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a medium sized room.
