Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is lacking in extension, and it is somewhat smeared, a bit prominent. Does a not so good job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends not much above or to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a medium to large sized room. If you choose to pair this speaker with another, the stereo set can be placed to provide better separation than other models.
