Sound Quality: Overall, we found the speaker delivers middling sound quality. Expect some distortions or other audio issues. The bass, which covers instruments such as bass drums, bass guitars, or stand-up bass, has good impact and goes fairly deep, and it is a bit prominent and boomy. Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is fairly even, but it is somewhat hazy and congested, a bit grainy, a touch etched and nasal. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is fairly extended, but it is a bit smeared, sizzly, dry. Does a decent job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends a bit above and to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a large sized room. If you choose to pair this speaker with another, the stereo set can be placed to provide better separation than other models.
