CTY e2.2
The CTY e2.2 feels like a regular old bicycle, and does regular old bicycle things with aplomb. Without electric assist activated, it pedals with ease on flat ground and up moderate hills, and has a comfortable upright seating position. The problem is that the electric powertrain doesn’t provide a ton of acceleration, nor does it do much to assist hill climbing. The brakes are good and stop the bike quickly and it has a front suspension to help smooth out bumps in the road. However, the display is rudimentary and small, making it difficult to see speed and assist level numbers while you’re riding. This is a good bike overall, but if you’re going to upgrade from a conventional bike to an electric one, there are probably better options for the same money.
