The Dream Original Mattress is part of the
Mattresses test program at
Consumer Reports. In our lab tests, Mattress
models like the The Dream Original Mattress are rated on multiple criteria, such as those
listed below.
Petite side sleeper:
A high score means the mattress supports smaller side sleepers well. For petite sleepers, we use a 5'0", 121 lb test dummy to assess how well the spine stays aligned in a side sleeping position.
Average side sleeper:
A high score means the mattress supports average side sleepers well. For this score, we average the petite and large/tall side sleeper scores to assess how well the spine stays aligned in a side sleeping position.
Large/Tall side sleeper:
A high score means the mattress supports large/tall side sleepers well. For large/tall sleepers, we use a 6'2", 220 lb test dummy to assess how well the spine stays aligned in a side sleeping position.
