Sound Quality: Overall, we found the speaker delivers near accurate and detailed sound. Expect fewer distortions or other audio issues. The bass, which covers instruments such as bass drums, bass guitars, or stand-up bass, has good impact and goes fairly deep, and it is somewhat prominent and boomy. Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is even, but it is somewhat grainy and congested, a bit hazy. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is fairly extended, but it is a bit smeared and sizzly, a touch prominent. Does a decent job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends a bit above, and not much to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a large sized room. If you choose to pair this speaker with another, the stereo set can be placed to provide better separation than other models.
Ease of Use: The speaker has some features or accessories that add convenience during daily operation. Shortcut buttons on the console include: volume, mute. A wireless microphone pouch, and carrying strap are conveniently included to help with carrying or moving the speaker. Its rating of IPX4 has no protection from dust and objects, but has protection from splashing water from any direction.
Versatility: It has many features users typically want and need. You can connect wirelessly to this speaker via a direct Bluetooth connection. Connection ports on this speaker includes a 3.5mm input, as well as: guitar input, microphone input, usb host mode. If you have two of these speakers, you can use TWS to pair them for a wider stereo experience. There are no tone control or EQ settings for customizing your listening experience. There is no speakerphone functionality nor built-in microphone.
