To help you score the best deal on a refrigerator this Cyber Monday, we’ve combed through dozens of them from major retailers including Best Buy, Costco, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Sears.

Similar to last year, deep discounts on top-performing models are few and far between due to the pandemic and ongoing supply-chain issues. These problems have also caused delivery times for refrigerators to vary significantly, running anywhere from a few days to over two months. So far, we’ve found only a handful of models that stand out in our rigorous lab tests, but we’ll keep updating this article with good deals we find over Cyber Monday and into Cyber Week, so check back often.

Below are our picks for the best Cyber Monday refrigerator deals, organized in alphabetical order by fridge configuration. CR members can click on each model name to see detailed ratings and reviews. For more top-performing options, refer to our refrigerator ratings or our collection of the best fridges of 2021.

Spotlight Deal

The brand Insignia probably makes you think of TVs, but Best Buy’s house brand makes a surprisingly good refrigerator. This Insignia French-door performs quite well in our lab tests, especially for its thermostat control and low noise output. This 36-inch model is also packed with features, including a stainless steel finish, an internal water dispenser, an icemaker, a built-in water filter, digital controls, spillproof shelves, and adjustable half shelves for better organization. Best Buy is taking $300 off this fridge, giving you a savings of about 20 percent.

Top-Freezer Refrigerators

Top-freezers aren’t usually discounted as much as their French-door and side-by-side cousins, but this stainless steel Frigidaire seems to be an exception to the rule. It’s on sale for about 25 percent off. This 28-inch model performs well in our tests, too, with especially impressive energy efficiency. At this price you don’t get any major features, but an icemaker—sold separately for about $125—can be added if you need one.

French-Door Refrigerators

This 36-inch GE French-door is on sale at a number of retailers, and it happens to be a stellar performer in our lab tests. It’s especially good at maintaining a uniform temperature, plus it’s quite easy to use. This GE’s many features include a stainless steel finish, a through-the-door water and ice dispenser, dual evaporators to prevent air and odors from mixing between the fridge and freezer cavities, a built-in water filter, and spillproof shelves.

For a fridge with a view (of your drinks and condiments), check out this LG French-door, which has a window on the right door. In addition, this 36-inch model has a door-in-door design for easy access to grab-and-go items on the door shelves, a built-in water filter, an icemaker, spillproof shelves, and a stainless steel finish. In our tests, it performs well across the board and stands out in particular for how quietly it runs.

This LG French-door will give you a premium French-door aesthetic on a budget without sacrificing performance. We tested a variant of this fridge, the LG LRFCS2503S, and expect this model to perform similarly. That fridge did well in all of our tests, but it really shined in our temperature tests, which should help minimize food spoilage. This 33-inch-wide LG features a stainless steel finish, an icemaker, a built-in water filter, spillproof shelves, and more.

If you’re after a high-end French-door fridge with all the bells and whistles, this LG features a window into the fresh-food compartment, a door-in-door design, a through-the-door water/ice dispenser, uniquely adjustable shelves you can raise and lower without removing the food, metal interior walls, and LG’s Craft Ice Maker, which makes ice spheres for cocktails and beverages. Got all that? This 36-inch LG is a variant of the CR-tested LG LRFXC2406S, which performed quite well in most of our tests, and we expect this model to perform similarly. The only exception is in energy efficiency, where that model falls in the middle of the pack. At about $850 off, this is probably one of the steepest discounts you’ll see on such a high-end model.

Side-by-Side Refrigerators

Sears is selling this 36-inch Frigidaire model for about $80 less than competing retailers. It’s a variant of the CR-tested Frigidaire FFSS2625TS, which does quite well in our temperature and energy efficiency tests. We expect this model to offer similar performance. Its features include a through-the-door water and ice dispenser, a built-in water filter, and digital controls.

This 36-inch-wide Kenmore side-by-side is an all-around good model. In our tests, it receives high scores for energy efficiency and its ability to maintain temperature while minimizing warm and cold spots. It’s not the most feature-rich fridge, but it has the necessities, including a through-the-door water and ice dispenser and digital controls.

CR’s test results: Kenmore 51335

This Samsung side-by-side receives high scores in all of our tests but stands out in particular for its precise temperature controls and low noise output. It also comes with all the features you could possibly need, including a stainless steel finish, a through-the-door water and ice dispenser, a built-in water filter, and digital controls that display both the actual and set temperatures of the fridge and freezer cavities.
