Anonymous, NY (2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 3.2-L V6)"The CVT on this vehicle is AWFUL! From a stop, it takes much too long for the transmission to engage under acceleration, and while cruising if you need to find passing power the transmission dies then revs very high, sometimes creating a "slamming" effect causing the whole vehicle to buck violently. Worst tranny I've ever driven. Thank goodness it's a company car"
Eric M., GA (2016 Jeep Cherokee Sport 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"Slipping transmission"

Zillah J., CA (2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 3.2-L V6)"At 10 to 13 mph from a stop the transmission will not shift into the next gear it just puts the truck in neutral. No matter what I try it just rolls until it pops back into gear about 1 1/2 to 2 mins later. At a red light I have almost been hit from behind 2x's. Dealer will not fix bc it does not do all the time and doesn't do it they have it. although they have had similar problems with other Jeeps. When it does finally shift into gear it makes a loud bang and it kicks into gear not shift into gear."

Steven S., MI (2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 3.2-L V6)"Jeep's Elusive 9th Gear. I'm far from alone on this. 9th gear never gets engaged unless I test drive it over 85 mph, which is, of course, not legal anywhere on a public road. No fix available from Jeep."
Anonymous, NY (2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 3.2-L V6)"Vehicle shifts improperly and a thumping sounds comes from acceleration and down shifting. Dealer stated that Chrysler/ Jeep is aware of the problem and is working on a fix."
