Kia Sorento 2007 4-door SUV

The Sorento is priced similarly to many small SUVs, even though it's larger than most of its competitors. The previous 3.5-liter V6 has been upgraded to 3.8-liters and 262 hp for 2007. Acceleration with the old 3.5 was quite spirited, and the engine sounded relatively smooth, but fuel economy was poor. The interior is fairly roomy, with good fit and finish. With its low-range gearing and ample ground clearance, the Sorento is competent off-road. The ride is stiff and handling is clumsy though ultimately secure. Stability control and ABS are standard for 2007.
