"I still have an issue with the turn signal. I cannot hear it and I am not deaf. Sometimes I go down the street and thru intersections with it on. Very unsafe in my opinion. Toyota doesn't seem to be concerned. It may be an issue that is the deciding factor on buying another one. My GMC truck had a warning buzzer if the let you know it was on for an extended time. I could also hear it."

"The car has trouble getting into the right gear when going up hills or when trying to get past 20km/h. You really have to push it to stay up to speed when going up a hill. The gas pedal is far too sensitive - push your foot down a touch too hard and it zooms off much faster than you'd anticipated. The handling is not bad for a minivan."

The Voice Command is weak. The vehicle had a rattle from the 8th seat bracket, but after three visits, they adequately secured the wiring. I am worried of Takata airbag that hasn't been replaced under warranty yet."

"You never asked about electrical sliding doors and rear liftgate. They've been a problem since the car was two years old and finally - a recall on the sliders. However, rear liftgate stopped functioning at lapse of warrenty period and must be operated manually. Toyota won't acknowledge product defect since Highlanders and Siennas all have same problem."

"The Sienna required replacement of the front passenger airbag and repair of the power sliding rear door. Toyota was VERY slow to provide the parts required for those two safety issues. After those repairs were completed, the Sienna has been very reliable. It is like a toaster...just turn it on and it works It has 175,000 miles currently. Our prior Sienna has 420,000 miles. I expect the 2012 Sienna will get to 300,000 miles before it is replaced. The cost of ownership per mile is very low."
